Is this a good idea and what should I do?

Well, I thought someone had done before and might only be an exclusive event for our dance, one silver Masquerade Ball I plan to send the invitations that have a pattern of black and gold design, the color of the costume ball will be in black and gold masks and do not have is a good idea? and we expect to sell tickets to others who wish to join the fundraiser? Suggestions?
